Welcome to my let’s try of Bloodlust 2 Nemesis Episode 1! This is an early access build of the game kindly provided to me by WRF Studios. In Episode 1 we’ll cover character creation, test out a few of our abilities and receive our first quest.
Bloodlust 2: Nemesis is a “Hack ‘n Slash – Dungeon Crawling – Action RPG” experience that will allow players to explore the dark underworld of a forgotten society of Vampires and their disciplines, all while trying to solve the secrets to their bloodline’s scientifically enhanced monstrous power.
I’m unfamiliar with the Bloodlust series and haven’t played Bloodlust Shadowhunter. From what I understand you, as a player, take down a whole clan and an emperor in the first game. I’m curious to see how much of that story drips back into this one.
During character creation, I take a look at all the options that are available to me. When it comes to appearance I chose a nice mohawk for my character. There’s a number of tattoos to choose from but a lot of them are on the face. That’s pretty hardcore, even for a vampire.
There are three classes in the game but they are flexible and based on the stats of your character. This means they can change during gameplay. I pick the Thief class to start out with. As I am more of a story person I choose to add a point to the Charisma, Intelligence, and Persuasion attributes.
There are five clans to choose from. I pick the Vi Tao clan as they have a sigil that looks a bit like Cthulhu. Conveniently they are located under the asylum.
