In my let’s play of Pathfinder Kingmaker episode 19 the party rescues the mage from a whole bunch of trolls and discovers the Swamp Witch’s Hut.
But we start off at the Tranquil Riverbend where we fight a whole bunch of Bogards but they are no match to our current skill level. Grenn then returns to Solistar and discusses a number of troll sightings with Kesten Garess. It turns out the mage Bartholomew might have pissed off the trolls with his experiments and now they’re out to get him.
Bartholomew’s hut is indeed being overrun with trolls and we’re barely on time to save him. As a thank you his sends his baron on an errand run to return his treasured whip.
At the Kobold Trail Grenn discovers some sort of kobold sanctuary and decides not to disturb their place of worship. On the way to the Swamp Witch’s Hut we noticed a kobold chastizing a few enormous trolls. No idea what they were talking about but they didn’t survive the encounter.
Near the Hut we find a restless spirit looking for coins and eternal rest. There are a lot of monsters in these parts and fights break out regularly. Grenn then discovers a whispering well containing several Will o’ Wisps which turns out to be a close battle. The party however finds the coins needed to let the dead rest.
We encounter the witch who calls herself the Old Belldame. She claims to have no clue about the missing child. Recognizing our power as the baron, she also sends us on an errand run for mushrooms and herbs. The region around the hut also houses a poisoned area dominated by a Scythe Tree.
