If you spend some time in the dungeon master community you hear a lot of complaints. All the preparation, knowing the rules, players who always try the unthinkable, … It’s easy to start wondering if being a dm is any fun at all. You should not underestimate the amount of work it takes to be a
In my let’s play of XCOM Enemy Unknown episode 22 is tasked by the Council to extract an abductee who managed to escape alien captivity. Seeing how much valuable intel we could get out of a former prisoner, it's totally worth sending in XCOM.
The team is dropped into a residential area near a small square with a fountain. Quite quickly we discover a Thin Man without being discovered ourselves. More of the dreaded Thin Men show up but are handled accordingly.
As we advance through the square, it turns out the place is swarming with Thin Men. Good thing they are not too hard to deal with. All the way on the other side of the square we finally discover Anna Singh who has been hiding from the Thin Men all this time.
While we are accompanying the VIP back to the Skyranger, Thin Men reinforcements are dropping in from the sky. Back at base, we are greeted with a Council Report. The research department discovers the EMP Cannon which will prove highly efficient in shooting down future UFOs.
While the EMP cannons are being fitted to our Interceptors, the research department looks into Heavy Plasma weapons and Elerium as a power source.
Welcome to my let’s try of Bloodlust 2 Nemesis Episode 4! This is an early access build of the game kindly provided to me by WRF Studios. In Episode 4 I’m still raiding the Bugata clan headquarters in search of their leader Giggler.
Bloodlust 2: Nemesis is a “Hack ‘n Slash – Dungeon Crawling – Action RPG” experience that will allow players to explore the dark underworld of a forgotten society of Vampires and their disciplines, all while trying to solve the secrets to their bloodline’s scientifically enhanced monstrous power.
I figure out how the system of gaining clan loyalty works. There's a specific chest in the Bugata headquarters in which you can drop Bugata-specific loot in exchange for reputation.
As I look for a way to level 3 of the dungeon I learn the hard way that being trigger-happy doesn't pay. I found some more victims and instead of feeding and healing from them, I accidentally attacked them. One of the victims was even killed costing me 500 XP.
We leveled to level 8 and grabbed the Warp ability. In the meanwhile, we've also found a way to reach level 4 of the dungeon. We're getting closer and closer to finding Giggler. Meanwhile, we find a guard to interrogate, grab another access card from him, and enter a secret room. Of course, a sarcophagus has to explode in our face and release a bunch a zombie ghosts which are easily killed though.
While destroying the local cupboards we also uncover a secret entrance with a whole bunch of loot and a way to skip to floor 6. Giggler, however, should be at level 5.
In my let’s play of Pathfinder Kingmaker episode 26 we start off the episode by some kingdom events that need solving. The baron also sends Valerie out to oversee the building of the road to Oleg's Tradingpost as was agreed with Jamandi Aldori. After that Tristian helps us to rank up our Loyalty stat to level 3.
We receive a copy of the Independence magazine which contains an essay about the kingdom written by Jubilost. It's more polite than expected but still quite opinionated as you'd expect from the gnome. We shortly talk to Valerie about her duel and she seems to shrug off the big scar on her face.
We visit Tarcandor where two new artisans have taken up residence. One is Dragn, a dwarf who wants us to look for pieces of his grandfather's armor. Shaynih'a traveled to us from Vudra and has incredible stories to tell. Incredibly long stories too to be honest.
The party then travels to the house of mage Delgado to return his missing whip and cross another quest off the list. On the shore of Candlemere Tower we find notes, and a little bit later a number of bodies as we make our way up to the tower's zenith.
In the ruins at the top, we find Rismel, a cleric of Nethys, who is guarding a portal. Rismel turns out to be mind-controlled by a being from inside the portal. By making him remember his travel companions we manage to clear his mind. Rismel summons the creature from beyond the portal and together we defeat it. Rismel stays behind to guard the portal to atone for his sins.
